This coming Friday, the 9th, I (courtney) will be participating in one last holiday boutique. If you are in San Diego, come check it out! It is from 9-12 and 5-9 at a home in Poway.

It is called Ubuntu and it is particularly special to me. My bible study girls and I started it last year in an effort to do something bigger than our everyday working and mommy-ing. Every seller participating will be donating a portion of their sales to a charity of their choice. It is so fun to see what different causes are represented.

I will be donating to Blood Water Mission- an organization our family is passionate about that builds wells in areas of the world that do not have access to clean water.

One of my major goals for this year is to get all of last year’s weddings blogged before my maternity leave (only 5 weeks away- crazy!), so there will be lots of fun on the blog in the coming weeks. Until then, here is a peak into Christmas at our house:

My son and I had fun decorating his room up a bit. He even got his own little tree to put all of his handmade ornaments and crafts on. It was so fun seeing him get so into Christmas this year!

Looking back through these memories, it makes me a little sad that the holidays are over, but also so excited for what this year has to bring. Especially our new little man! (6 1/2 weeks to go folks!)

It has become such a special tradition and is even more fun now that our son can sing! We do a mix of Christmas favorites and originals written by my husband.

Now, onto the prettiness. I was so thrilled today to see that a holiday photo shoot I designed was featured on Hostess with the Mostess. You can see the full post here with all of the details. All of the gorgeous photos are by the wonderful Drew B.

The adorable tables and chairs are from Found Rentals and the gorgeous centerpiece is by Modern Bouquet. Thanks so much ladies!

Simple white dishes were placed on red scalloped mini-placemats (now available in my etsy shop!) and each place setting was giving a large, delicious red velvet cupcake from Sweet and Saucy Shop. The ribbon flag toppers are also available in my etsy shop.

I found the red and white knitted ornaments at JC Penny for a few bucks and the ornament adorning the water jug is one of my favorites from Paloma’s Nest. Glasses are from Anthropologie and lacey votive holders are from Ikea.

Looking at these pictures really makes me want a cupcake right now.

I made it through my crazy week of prep for the Queen Bee Market with a sick 3 year old! The Queen Bee Market was incredible! I had such an amazing time meeting other vendors, shopping and sharing my work.

I’ll be back with a larger recap in the next couple of days, but I just wanted to share this fun etsy find with you in time to order for Thanksgiving.

For my fall party, I stumbled across this pumpkin pie soap from Etsy seller KcSoapsNMore.  It looks like a mini pumpkin pie and smells delicious! Such a fun unexpected touch for your restroom. I put mine on a mini cake stand and guests almost did not want to use it because it was so cute! It would make a great hostess gift too. It comes tied up in a sweet little box.

While we are talking about Thanksgiving, I will be listing the few thanksgiving banners that I have left from the Queen Bee Market in my shop this week and I will be sure to let you know once they are up. I am feeling so incredibly thankful already and Thanksgiving is still a week away!
